adoption books for childrenFollowing on from my original post highlighting 8 of the best adoption books for children, it has proved so popular that I wanted to add to it. Here are five more great adoption books written for kids.

The Teazles’ Baby Bunny

Available for £4.99, this book is published by BAAF, it is short and aimed at very young children. I don’t own it yet, but did flick through it in a books store and was very impressed.

A Blessing from Above

As the title suggests, this book relates adoption with faith. I appreciate that this is not everyone’s cup of tea, however, the message about adoption is sound, and definitely worth looking at. £2.25 from Amazon.

The Cow That Laid An Egg

Available on Amazon for £4.00, this book uses colour and humour very effectively but there is still a subtle message about family; very enjoyable.

Finding a Family for Tommy

This is available for £8.95. Another book by BAAF, this comes highly recommended by foster carers as a book to read to foster children about to be adopted.

The Most Precious Present in the World

On Amazon for £6.44, this book looks at the differences in family members and addresses associated issues with physical differences.
