Poor old Mike Wazowski. The luckless, depth-perception challenged monster had a hard time of it back in 2002 when Monsters Inc. first hit our screens.
Now 11 years later, and at the dawn of the release of Monsters University, featuring the beloved Mike, he finds himself in yet more trouble.
I am not talking about the new film however. I am talking about the cuddly toy bought by a friend of ours for the wee man.
The very first night Mike was with us, our son threw up everything he had seemingly consumed during the last 24 hours all over our newest arrival. He did so, as he sat on my wife’s knee, preparing to go to bed and cuddling his supposed new best friend.
Mike had been in our house for less than 6 hours when he found himself showered with puke and submerged in the bath.
We cleaned him, and during the recent heat wave, hung him outside to dry.
That is until a few nights ago, when I awoke to the sound of gurgling, and upon turning on the light saw the unfortunate Mr. Wazowksi had once again been the ultimate recipient of our son’s bouncing meal.
I was anxious to find out what my son’s problem was with the cartoon star, if any, or if it was simply a case of people being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I interviewed my son, several times, and this video is a recording of said interviews.
Monsters University is out in July this year.
